Platform Role and Limitations: Nectar Eats is a Food Marketplace trading under the title ("Nectar Eats Takeaways") which serves as a platform connecting customers with independent food vendors. While we take measures to feature vendors that meet high standards of quality and safety, Nectar Eats is not directly involved in the preparation, packaging, or delivery of food products. Customers should be aware that all transactions and interactions with vendors are conducted directly with the respective vendors.
Food purchased for delivery or pickup from our partner restaurants must be consumed within a "24 hour safe period" from receiving your order. Food that is left must be refrigerated once you have allowed it to cool down at room temperature, then it must be stored at “4° Celsius or lower” this is only advisable if consumed within a maximum of 24 hours. When reheating food always heat up until it is piping hot all the way through i.e. “above 75°C for at least 30 seconds or more”. Food should only be reheated once then consumed or discarded. If food has not been handled correctly through the proper re-heating or consumption within the safe period, Nectar Eats Limited. will not be held responsible.
When making a purchase on www.nectareats.com you are confirming your acknowledgement of our Terms & Conditions, you and or any such person(s) release Nectar Eats Limited in its entirety from any liabilities arising from the consumption of the aforementioned food items and agree that no legal actions will be taken against Nectar Eats Limited in any such event.

Each vendor featured on Nectar Eats Takeaways is responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations concerning food safety, labelling, and accurate representation of their products and services. Vendors are solely accountable for the quality, authenticity, and accuracy of their offerings including any allergy information.
Allergy information labelling in the UK is governed by regulations like Natasha's Law and the Food Information to Consumers (FIC) Regulation, requiring that mandated allergens be clearly emphasised (e.g., in bold) on ingredients lists for all pre-packed for direct sale (PPDS) foods and other pre-packed foods. For non-pre-packed foods, allergen information must be provided through alternative methods such as menus, chalkboards, shelf labels, or verbally.
For Pre-packed for Direct Sale (PPDS) Foods
Mandatory Labelling:
From October 1, 2021 (Natasha's Law), PPDS foods must have a label displaying a full ingredients list.
Allergen Emphasis:
Any allergenic ingredients must be clearly highlighted on this list, for example, using bold text, a different font, or background colour.
Examples of PPDS Foods:
This includes sandwiches, salads, and other ready-to-eat items packaged on the same premises where they are sold.
For Non-Pre-Packed (Loose) Foods
Information Provision:
For food sold in a non-pre-packed format, such as in a buffet or at a delicatessen counter, you must provide information on the presence of allergens.
Methods:
This information can be provided verbally by staff, through a sign directing customers to staff, on a menu, or on a chalkboard or shelf label.
